Alexander Wieser has been interviewed at Deutschlandfunk "Forschung aktuell" about his accelerator mass spectrometry work tracing the sources of radioactive caesium: "Fukushima, Tschernobyl, Atombombe? Verfahren entlarvt Quelle von Fallout".

The interview was initiated by Alexander's invited talk "Lasers against barium – Detection of 135Cs in the environment by AMS" at the DPG spring meeting of the of the Section on Atomic, Molecular, Quantum Optics and Photonics (SAMOP).

Alexander's thesis work at the Isotope Physics group is supervised by Robin Golser.
